Easiness to move and carry is a plus. The other characteristics are the one they advertise, so yes, it is a must.

Wayne ledson, 14/10/2021Upgraded to this as I needed a mitre with good dust extraction and this does deliver. Shadow line is excellent, not a big fan of the handle compared to my previous DeWalt but you get used to it. Fits a DeWalt stand with no issues using the M6 feet bolts it comes with.
Eddie , 12/10/2021The Kapex is the next generation of mitre saw in this post apocalyptic world where deadly virus mutate at astonishing rates the kapex doesn’t miss a cut , working with ease like an Apache gunship against terrorist militia . It ease of use setting a cut can only be compared with the mother in laws sexual outlook of easy , 1 touch and your in and out. Like Chris brown it’s a Banger !!

J D POPE, 15/06/2021I have now owned 4 mitre saws and all 4 out of the box needed tweeking and all with bed, table misalignment. The KS60 out of the box cuts 90, 45, compound 45 with out having to do any tweeks. The bed, table is dead flat with smooth turning and good positive stops. Dust extraction is fantastic . Weight for transport and design for lifting is good. The angle finder works a treat, saving time on non 90 corners. Shadow light works well but does not come on with trigger, you have to switch on and off. Have seen the comments referring to the handle, trigger not sideways as my other saws were, no big deal its the same as holding your drill, jigsaw, resip, mulitool, could go on but should get my drift. All in all a well designed precision tool. The value of a tool to me is if it broke got stolen would I replace it tomorrow and this one is a yes.
simon, 19/05/2021One of my favourite tools. Accuracy is superb, build quality is superb. Weight and size makes it pretty easy to take around to jobs. Very flexible - ideal for skirting and architrave, also cuts metal very cleanly - like tile trims. Great tool - only small grumble is the dust extraction outlet should have a 90 degree bend on it - probably available after market.

Leigh Crook, 29/06/2018It is just a brilliant machine, a replacement for an old mitre saw, that was very loud, more difficult to operate, and much bigger in size so quite a headache to move around and store it. As with all the Festool machines you get exactly what you pay for it so the saw has definitely met my expectations. The LED light bevel is also very helpful while working so do get this model if you can.
