Look good quality but don’t grip the wood as well as I had hoped

Clifford Carr, 05/05/2022I bought a pack of these for a recent DIY project to overboard a loft. I used lengths of CLS timber screwed directly on the joists to raise the floor over the insulation. I used a trend pocket hole jig and Kreg 64mm screws (2 for each length). The screws performed solidly. My only slight issues was the square slot these screws have instead of a pozi or a torx slot that I usually find in woodscrews. Occasionally the impact driver would slip but it appears all screws of this type are made this way.
